Since most printers are increasingly becoming USB-type printers, and StarCaster™ is a native 16-bit system, it's becoming more difficult, but not impossible, to find printers that will work with StarCaster™.
Printers that are
incompatible with StarCaster™ include:
- printers whose sole interface is a USB connection, and
- printers that state they are a "Windows only" printer.
Printers that
are compatible with StarCaster™ are:
- printers that have a parallel interface, and
- state that they work with MS-DOS applications.
