- StarCaster™ is a tightly-written, native 16-bit application that runs under pure DOS, or a Windows command prompt (see Windows Considerations).
After your computer boots and all drivers load, you'll need at least 540K conventional RAM memory. In addition, StarCaster 6.x requires at least 1 Mb extended RAM. - Digital Audio Systems

- 80486DX-33 or faster
- 527Mb hard drive
- 8Mb RAM
- 1.44Mb 3½" floppy drive
- VGA color monitor
- DOS 5.0 or newer

- StarCaster™ will work with any LAN/OS that provides for the basic file+region locking protocols. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Novell Netware, 3.x or newer
